CTS-101000

Dual output generator for testing 2 and 3 terminal Surge Protection Devices (SPD). An integrated safety circuit linked with a large volume test cabinet ensure personnel safety.

CTS-101000 is an impulse generator with current wave shape 10/1000 μs at the output terminals. The generator has dual outputs which enable testing of 2 terminal and 3 terminal devices up to class 1. Each output delivers 500 A impulses. These can be connected together for a single 1000 A impulse. An internal measurement system monitors peak impulse voltage and current for display on the front panel. BNC monitor outputs enable waveform display on an external oscilloscope. High voltage outputs on the top plate can be protected by a test cabinet for increased operator protection. The colour touch panel with graphic help, guides the user through test programming and setup. An integrated web server gives access to test setups and reports from any internet browser.
